日本コロムビアのカタログ発信プロジェクト J-DIGSより鈴木弘「ロマンス」MV公開

　＜日本コロムビア＞のカタログ発信プロジェクト J-DIGSより、鈴木弘「ロマンス」のMVが公開された。

　J-DIGSは、日本で最も長い歴史を持つ音楽レーベル＜日本コロムビア＞の膨大なアーカイブを中心に日本に眠っている良質な音楽を発掘し、世界に紹介するプロジェクト。「ロマンス」は1976年2月25日にリリースされた鈴木弘の代表作『キャット』に収録されている、本アルバムを代表するメロウで艶やかな楽曲だ。

　A Tribe Called Questの「Can I Kick It? - J. Cole Remix」にサンプリングされたことで注目され、ソーシャルメディアを中心に本楽曲を使用した投稿が2万を超えていることなどを受け、J-DIGSプロジェクトからMVが制作されることになった。発売から47年後に、しかもジャズインストでMVが作られるのは異例のケース。本楽曲は、フランスのレーベル＜180g＞よりリリースされたコンピレーションアルバム『WaJazz: Japanese Jazz Spectacle Vol.I』にも収録されている。

　MVはアニメーションと実写の合成で作成されており、「ロマンス」という楽曲が持つ艶やかさや都会的な雰囲気を際立たせる映像作品に仕上がっている。ディレクションはムービーディレクター いしだももこが担当した。

　また、MVの公開を記念して、Instagramのストーリーズにて使用可能なオリジナルGIFを配布中。InstagramのStickerで“jdigs”と検索することで使用可能となっている。
