EXCLUSIVE: Wolverine was spotted using his CLAWS to fight Deadpool on the set of the new Marvel movie yesterday (Tues) as Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds resumed their iconic roles.
Australian actor Hugh, 54, was seen attacking his opponent with his signature weapon as he returned to his role as Wolverine for new film Deadpool 3.
Reynolds, 46, who plays Deadpool, was spotted retaliating with his two katana blades as they fought on set in the south of England.
Wolverine, who is known for his temper, fighting ability and deadly retractable blades, was wearing his yellow and black comic book classic suit, whilst Deadpool was dressed in his red costume.
In another scene, the pair took part in a tense stand-off in front of an enormous 20th Century Fox sign, which was partly buried in the ground. Wolverine was seen crouched on the ground as Deadpool shot at him with two guns.
But despite the brawling, the actors looked pleased to be working on set together and were seen chatting, laughing and enjoying a coffee between takes.
Hugh, who last played Wolverine in 2017’s Logan and had said he would never reprise the role, was also spotted standing under a black umbrella.
Production of the film is believed to have been relocated to the UK so Reynolds can manage his commitments with his team Wrexham FC.
